The easiest part of creating your own web site is downloading photos of  the cakes you've created..........the hardest part is trying to describe myself to you.  So I won't spend much time on that.  I come from 7 generations of "Wright's" in Milford, New Hampshire, was a member of the Spartan's Drum & Bugle Corps, won Miss Congeniality in the Miss Milford Pagent 200 years ago when I was younger, graduated from Milford High School, attended NHCAC and Hesser's College, worked at Sander's Associates then Digital Equipment Corporation for 15 years where I experimented on employees using various cake flavors and designs - all the while scared to death someone would ask me to make a wedding cake.  In fact, I got an order for a wedding cake and refused it - then got mad at myself for not trying So one very hot summer day I baked and decorated my first three tier wedding cake for "nobody", and displayed it on the dining room table for a couple days, not sure what to do with it, but proud that I had conquered the fear.  Then I saw my husband on the back porch feeding handfulls of it to the neighbor's great dane, saying "it's a shame to waste it".   A Digital employee (Trudy) hired me to create her son's wedding cake.  I had my first wedding order - for money!  I was a nervous wreck.  The cake had to be perfect, and it was.  As I left The Castleton, a limo passed me going in the opposite direction, and then it hit me (the thought, not the limo)..........my first bride is in that limo and I actually completed a real wedding cake!!!...............I'm not a cryer but I allowed it that day.   Thank you Trudy, see what you started?  :-)
Took three days to come down from my "cake high".  And it's been non-stop action from that point on..... for over 16 years.   On the left is a photo of a snowman cake my Mother made for my 7th birthday.   Creativity is in my genes.  Ok, enough about me, let's look at some more photos!

Beauty and The Beast Wedding Cake.  Bride was just a tiny thing, but the groom was well over 6' so they jokingly called him "The Beast".  See the dome on top with the red sugar rose inside?
Three days before Valentines Day 2010, my daughter found this imprint in her driveway.  We've puzzled over it until our puzzler was sore, who and what did this and how  Since it has two snuggling hearts, I felt it would look perfect on a wedding web site.

Abby's Diva Cake
Could have cried with joy when I delivered Louise's wedding cake.  She and her new husband are widowed and very much in love.  The house was filled to the brim with flowers, family memories - and the scent of many gardenias from Daffodils Florist of Jaffrey.
